Activities:
Spiritual Wing:- Daily Omkaram and Suprabhatam (5 am),Morning Pooja by Mahilas (10 am) and Evening Bhajans( 6.30pm- 7.30pm on Thursdays and Sundays; and 6.30 to 7 pm on all other week days except Saturdays); Veda Classes on Saturday mornings at Samithi in which overseas devotees also participate online; Monthly Residential Bhajans; Bhajans Training ; Vedam Chanting on important occasions; Study Circle to hear ,reflect and practice Sai teachings; Satsang by eminent speakers and veteran devotees.
Service Wing:- Monthly Narayana Seva on last Sunday with food cooked in Samithi’s kitchen serving 400 Narayanas plus sending prasadam for 100 students of Rakum School for Blind and Girl’s Orphanage ; Monthly Medical Camp (second Sunday) , Amrutha Kalasham Distribution for deserving families, Outreach Programs ; Blanket Distribution on Swami’s birthday ; Visiting Swami’s Vridhaashram in Gokulam (Kadugodi)and spending time with elderly members there sharing Bhagwan’s teachings, singing bhajans plus clothes and prasadam distribution; Volunteering at Spastics Society of Karnataka; Hospital Seva for a week every month at Swami’s Super Speciality Hospital at Whitefield ; Buttermilk Service during summer -are some of the key service activities,
Education Wing:- Weekly Bal Vikas Classes, Daily Evening Tuition for economically challenged children; Soft Skills and SkillsTraining for students of Govt Colleges; Holding sports competition ; awards to achievers in academics.
Sai Darshan Seva Kshetra (Samithi/Mandir) located in the bustling, residential and commercial localities of Indranagar, HAL 2nd Stage and Defence Colony, is part of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Bengaluru Central District , Karnataka (South)
Sai Darshan is a Samithi visited and blessed by Swami every year during His visits to Bangalore (Brindavan-Whitefield) from 1988 to 2002.
Recognising the immense contribution made by Sai Darshan to the local community over the years , BBMP municipal authorities named 13th Main Road where the Samithi is situated as ,‘Sai Darshan Marg’.
In fact, Bhagwan took keen interest during the construction stages of Sai Darshan’s ground floor and also later when the first floor (Eswaramma Hall) was built. Bhagawan used to drop in unannounced during construction times.HE even reviewed the Plan for the building and selected the tiles as well. Swami was also a witness to numerous devotional plays staged by Bal Vikas children here during His divine visits.
There is also a granite pedestal near the Altar in the ground floor hall of the Mandir on which Bhagawan’s feet are carved . Bhagawan graciously stood on it and consecrated in 1988. From then onwards , active devotees have been performing Pooja for this consecrated pedestal continuously for the past 35 years every day without a break.
Sai Darshan Seva Kshetra is Bhagawan’s gift to foster His timeless values of love, faith, peace, selfless service, brotherhood of man and Fatherhood of God. Devotees, Members, Active Workers and Youth who have been visiting the Mandir and participating in its activities are recipients of indescribable joy and serenity.
