Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation – Karnataka

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation was established at Mumbai in 1965 by the Divine Directions of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu. It was also established in Karnataka and some other States at the same time. Uniquely, there were many Bhajana Mandalis functioning in Karnataka much before this, with the Bhajana Mandali at Malleswaram Bangalore being the First. It celebrated its 50th Golden Jubilee over a year back.

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations is a Service Organisation with Spirituality as its core. All its activities are focussed on the benefit of the general public without distinctions of religion, race, race, nationality, caste, creed or sect. It consists of members of different ethnic groups and different religions, all pursuing their respective religions and faiths, but joining together under Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations for the service of mankind with the firm faith and conviction that Manav Seva (Service to Man) is Madhav Seva (Service to God).

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations focuses on Transformation of Individual and provides opportunities to its members to pursue their individual spiritual sadhana by engaging in various activities under its three wings:
Spiritual Wing: Bhajans, Nagar Sankirtans, Study Circles, Discourses, Sadhana Camps, Jyoti Meditation etc.
Service Wing: Narayan Seva, Gram Seva, Medical camps, Visits to hospitals, Old age homes, homes for mentally challenged etc, and rendering help during natural calamities and emergencies.
