WALK FOR VALUES BENGALURU SOUTH DISTRICT

Loving Sairam. All of us had a very elevating experience on the morning of 10th April 2016 in Nettakkallappa Circle Sri Ganesha Temple Grounds. On behalf of everyone, I express our deepest Gratitude to our beloved Lord for giving us yet another opportunity to serve him and for reminding us through this Walk about all the Human Values that HE has exhorted all of Humanity to follow. Let us all take another step forward by practising the Value that each of us decided upon.

Swami’s hand was clearly visible even before the start of the program as was evident in his guidance to a new venue within a span of a few minutes (through a young person who is totally unknown to us)  when we encountered some issues at the original venue. It is HIS way of reminding us that HE is the DOER.

At 7 a m sharp, Sri Nagesh G Dhakappa Sir, State President, Sri Venkat Gosavi Sir, Vice President flagged off the Walk for Values in Bengaluru South to the start of  Veda chanting by the colourful Veda chanting group. Before this, Sri Dhakappa Sir hoisted the Prashanthi Flag.

The Palanquin [Pallakki] of Swamy was well decorated attractively and carried for 4 kms route by the Koramangala youth team and others. After the Veda chanting for 45 minutes, Bal Vikas group of children, parents and Gurus rendered Bhajans along with devotees, through out carrying the placards with Swamy’s catchy messages both in Kannada and English which attracted the attention of the public. Gents and the youth singers rendered Bhajans in front of Swamy’s Pallakki. At the end, for about ten minutes all the participants chanted Sri Sai Gayathri while returning and entering the Grounds.

At 9 a m, the walk ended and Justice Sri M N Venkatachalaiah Sir addressed the gathering and offered Aarathi to Swamy. Sri Yadalam Gangadhara Setty Sir, Sri Ramkumar Sir, Sri Venkat Gosavi Sir, District Office bearers, Convnors, devotees, members from all wings of the Units participated enthusiastically.

It was well attended memorable programme in which about 390 people participated.

I take this opportunity to thank all the Samithi and Bhajan Mandali active participation. Without your support, this would not have been possible.The district office bearers and many others have worked tirelessly to make this happen. I express my gratitude to each one of them who played their part in this program.

Let us continue to work unitedly in this journey of ours.
