Vidya Jyothi project was launched formally on 21st May,2016 at Dr.Ambedkar Proudha Sala, Kodihalli,in Bangalore Central District. Sri.S.N.S. Murthy, IPS, DG,IGP Karnataka (Retd) was the chief guest. The youth members of the district made excellent arrangements at the School for the launch. Members of Indiranagar, Domlur and C.V.Raman Nagar samithis attended the program.Students, parents and staff enthusiastically participated. The program started with lighting of lamp, Veda Chanting and few Bhajnas. After formally inaugurating the program Sri.S.N.S.Murthy and Smt.Nirmala Murthy addressed the gathering in Kannada and gave insight about the importance of education and the role of parents.
Sri.Rajendra Rao, Joint State Youth Coordinator of SSSSO, Karnataka and Sri.Nischal,member of District youth explained the salient features of the project through a ppt. presentation to all members. Sri.Satyanarayana,District Youth Coordinator, Bangalore Central District explained the plan of action of the project and the tentative dates of execution of the same.
The Head Master Sri.Kalleshappa expressed his appreciation for the initiative taken by the SSSSO through this project.
The program ended with Aarthi to Bhagwan and distribution of Vibhuthi and prasadam.
