Trayambaka Rudra Parayana was held in Sri Lakshmikantha Swamy Temple in Padmanabhanagara area on the holy Maha Shivarathri -7.3.16 from 6.30 to 8 a m by the Bengaluru South District.
About 50 persons [ladies and gents] participated including about 34 persons who chanted. It was well received by the public and the Temple authorities as the morning of Shivarathri had started off very well. Sri Sai Chandrashekhar, District President of South District participated and offered Aarathi to Swamy at the end.
Added opportunity given by Swamy was, prior to 7th March, Temple cleaning Seva was also available for two days to the members of the Padmanabhanagara Samithi.
Veda chanting and Bhajans have been held here on festival days in this Temple which was started in the year 1983.
