Swatchata programmes was organized by various Samithi of Dakshina Kannada district. Gents and Mahila youths, Balvikas Gurus, Balvikas children and active sevadal in all, 75 people participated and the programme was a grand success. Trees were also planted by few samithi’s. Several other programmes were also planned during this campaign.
Saplings were planted around Sri Sathya Sai Sevakshetra Mangalore, in Vridhashram by Mahilas, at 2 SSSVJ schools by school children, teachers and active workers.
At the same time Sweets were distributed.
