Loving Sairam,
The program started at 5.20 pm with the lighting of Jyothi. The devotees then chanted Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam followed by the chanting of Sri Bhagavad Gita, chapter 7 titled Jnana-Vijnana Yogah.
The sanctum sanctorum was gaily decorated with an idol of Lord Krishna and a Jhoola for Balakrishna in the shape of the hood of Adisesha.
After a brief break, it was followed by special bhajans that were sung by all groups of singers.
Mahamangalarthi was offered to Bhagawan at 7.05 pm. Swami’s message on Sri Krishna Janmashtami was read out and prasadam was distributed to 81 devotees who participated.
