One with SAI

On the occassion of 90th Birthday Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Dakshina Kannada District had organised ‘One with SAI’ a devotional songs offering programme by Prasanthi Bhajan Group, Radio Sai Team on 31st October 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The programme was lead by Sri M.Padmanabha Pai, District President of Dakshina Kannada District, Smt. Priya P Pai, State Ladies Seva Co Ordinator, Karnataka and wholehearted support and participation of Seva Dal at a large scale. The public audience and devotees were all at praise as the programme came out very well.
On 31st October 2015 at 1.30 PM, Sri M.Padmanabha Pai, Sri Priya P Pai and Special Guest Sri Venkat Gosavi, Vice President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Karnataka, initiated procession by offering Arathi to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba photo placed in a beautifully decorated palanquin at Sri Sathya Sai Seva Kshethra.

The procession started towards Sanghanikethana after going around mandir area forming a pradakshina. The procession with Banner, musical instruments, Balavikas Chidren, Ladies with Kalash, Palanquin, Gents systematically going with Jaikar, Chanting Sai Gayathri, Singing Bhajans was beautiful and eye catching scene.
After reaching Sanghanikethana Kumkum Arathi was offered to Swamy and the Palanquin was placed inside the hall.
The afternoon programme started at 3.30 PM with lighting of the lamp. Sri M Padmanabha Pai, Dr. Upendra Kamath Shevgoor, District Office bearers, Senior Devotees lighted lamp on the Gents side simultaneously Smt Priya P Pai, District Office bearers, Senior Devotees lighted lamp on the Ladies side. This was followed by Veda mantra chanting by Balavikas children, welcome speech by Sri. M Padmanabha Pai to the gathering, introduction of the guests and honouring of the guests by offering bouquet as token of love.
Next was speech by Sri Venkat Gosavi, Vice President, Karnataka, Sri Uday Dharmasthala, Newly appointed editor of Sanathan Sarathi, followed by talk by Sri Aravind Balasubrahmanyam of Radio Sai on Leela of Swamy. He brought an awareness that, only with Devotion, Shraddha, Patience and Deep Craving an individual can become One with SAI, by quoting few experiences in his life.
Next Prasanthi Bhajan Group sang soul touching 13 devotional bhajans in hindi, telugu, kannada, marathi which left the audience spell bounded. The audience of around 2000 in number were lost in the depth of devotion and were in blissfull state.

Speciality of ‘One with SAI’ was in using technology proper way. 3 large LCD panel were used to display live programme. It was convinient for the large audience to see the programme as LCD panel were placed on stage and either sides of the stage. Lighting and Sound systems arrangements were of high standard. At the beginning of the programme, clippings of Swamy Visits to various places of Dakshina Kannada district was shown on LCD panel. Similarly showing clippings of Swamy Darshan at parthi while the Prasanthi Bhajan Group sang bhajans, was effective. Showing appropriate Photos and Clippings of Swamy at appropriate occassion on the LCD panel was appreaciated. Along with that, before every bhajans presented by Prasanthi Bhajan Group, an introduction and events related to it by Aravind Balasubrahmanyam enriched bhajans.

Programme concluded by offering Food preparation and Arathi to Swamy. Sri M Padmanabha Pai, Smt Priya P Pai and Sri Venkat Gosavi offered Arathi. Prasadam was systematically arranged as Dinner for the gathering. During this time Sai Literature and Sanathana Sarathi counter was arranged for sales.
‘One with SAI’ programme was a successfull one only with the Grace of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This has brought awareness about Bhagawan to the public audience at a higher scale. Offering ‘One with SAI’ at the lotus feet of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba on the occassion of 90th Birthday Celebrations by Sai Devotees of Dakshina Kannada District was a way to express their devotion and gratitude to Bhagawan.
