With Bhagawan’s grace the 90th Birthday programme in West District concluded with a Second One With Sai musical offering at the lotus offering on the evening of 23rd of November 2015 at the Sri Sai College for women, Rajajinagar Bangalore west.
The One with Sai Jhoola Programme was rendered by Mrs. Srividya Ramanathan and Smt Umamaheshwari and party…both are graded artistes in the AIR. Srividya Ramanathan is a disciple of the famous Sri Nayveli Santhana gopalan and has been trained in classical music for more than 20 years. And Smt Umamaheswari though is a chartered Accountant by profession,has passion for classical music and has been trained under many gurus.she was also teaching music in the Shankar Mahadevan Academy till recently.
The Programme commenced with Veda Chanting and Bhajans followed by musical offering.
The 45 minute melodious music programme was studded with a Hindustani based devotional numbers and interspersed with Sai Bhajans too.
On this occasion the Mahila Veda Group of the Subramanyanagar samithi were also honoured for taking up a project of chanting veda in 90 residences and public places during this year. Their 90th offering was at Trayee Brindavan on the 19th November during the Ladies Day Programme
The programme continued with an address by the District president who highlighted the programmes taken up in the current year and also indicated the plans for next year.
The One With Sai Programme concluded by Arathi to Bhagawan and Prasadam distribution.
