Malleswaram Samithi Convener Sri.Sathish along with Sri.Ashok and Dr.Vinay Kumar a Dental Surgeon, who are also members of the samithi, visited Thekalahalli & Halemyganahalli villages beyond Dodballpur. These are literally tiny hamlets with hardly 12 houses in the former village.
One village (Thekalahalli) doesn’t have a proper access road and with previous couple of days strong & extensive rain made their approach very challenging. After facing few difficulties on the road they could reach the village and with the help of villagers they could shift the rice, tur daal, vibhuthi, biscuits, etc.from the car. After that, they performed pooja at the temple before the provisions taken were distributed to the villagers.
During this visit, they could understand the requirements of the villagers better and for the next visit, with Swamy’s blessings they are planning to donate few general medicines, Sai Protein, some seeds for their agriculture purpose along with rice, tur dhal, vibhuthi, etc.
The second village, (Halemyganahalli) is yet another needy village with socio-economic challenges.  One of the most pleasant things that could be seen in this village is that they’ve placed Swamy’s photo (which was given to them during the previous visit) just above the main entrance of the Sanctum Sanctorum of the Eshwara temple. This is the only [recently built] temple in this village and photo is very nicely displayed.
Sri.Satish feels that the team has to spend more time here as Alcoholism is very high among the men folks and he feels more work needs to be done to bridge the initial gap. This villagers are mostly Marathi speaking and they do speak/read/write Kannada also. With Swamy’s blessings, more help can be extended to them.

In a small way, Malleshwaram Samithi has taken up this service activity and let us pray Bhagawan to be with us & bless the people of these two villagers.
