Indiranagar Samithi, Bangalore Central District celebrated its 27th Anniversary on 4th November 2015. Bhagawan inaugurated this Mandir on 4th November 1988 and subsequently graced HIS divine presence every year HE visited Brindavan. From 1988 till 2002 He had blessed the Mandir with His divine visits at least sixteen times in fourteen years. HIS lotus feet touched every nook and corner of the sacred Mandir.
The Anniversary Celebrations started with Omkaram, Suprabhatam and Nagar Sankeertan in the early morning hours followed by daily pooja by Mandir ladies (to the impressions of Swami’s Lotus Feet on Granite pedestal), from 10:30am to 12 Noon. In the evening the program commenced with Veda Chanting followed by Bhajans.
The award ceremony followed the Bhajans with gifts and prizes being distributed to Mandir tuition program children for achievements in sports, academics and extracurricular activities. Several teaching staff especially young men and women form the IT industry, who took time off to participate in the daily tuition program, were felicitated.
Doctors who serve in the weekly Medical Camp were also felicitated on this occasion.
Sri.Venkataramana Gosavi, the Vice President of SSSSO, Karnataka addressed the devotees and emphasized on the importance of putting into practice Bhagawan’s teaching in our daily lives. He reiterated that our lives and behaviour should reflect Bhagawan’s message to the society.
