As part of Bhagawan’s 91st Birthday celebrations, on 26 Nov 2016, Saturday, Sri.Durjati Mudigonda, who was Swami’s student during 1982 to 1989 visited “Sai Santham”, the Domlur Samithi in Bangalore Central district and shared with all devotees, his experiences in divine presence during his stay in Parthi. An exponent on Veena Sri.Durjati played some of the popular bhajans which enthralled the audience. He was accompanied by Sri.Mahadevan on Tabla and Sri. Sai Subramaniam on Harmonium.
The devotees wished that the talk and Veena concert to go on for another hour if possible but paucity of time was a constraint.
Sri Durjati Mudigonda, finished his M Sc in 1989 and is currently in Ohio, USA and is the regional coordinator of the Sri Sathya Sai Intl. organisation in his area. He is a trained musician and a favorite Veena player of Swami. Swami used to listen to him playing veena for 15-20 minutes before going out for darshan .
The function ended with Aarti to Bhagwan and distribution of Prasadam. Some Photographs of the event are posted below.
