Loving Sairam to All,
With Beloved Bhagawan’s Grace and Blessings, A One Day Workshop on “Disaster Awareness” was conducted on 17th September (Sunday), for 150+ NCC Cadets at Mahajana’s First Grade College, Jayalakshmi Puram, Mysuru from Sri Sathya Sai Disaster Management Team (SSSDMT) under the Leadership of Capt. V.K Kadam, State coordinator, State Disaster Management Team. NCC Cadets all over Mysore participated. Demo sessions were conducted at Sri Sathya Sai Baba School premises. The Training Event was Collated with Mahajana College and Sri Sathya Sai Baba Nursery, Higher Primary and High School.
PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
- Presentation sessions on Natural Calamities along with Videos were presented forenoon by the SSSDMT faculty.
- Fire Fighting Operations in the incipient stages, rescue techniques, types of knots for rescue operations were demoed afternoon. Life saving CPR techniques were demonstrated from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences(SSSIHMS), Whitefield, Bengaluru.
- Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services were invited to explain the types and hazards of fire and demoed the types of extinguishers, operation on types of nozzles.
