Deepavali celebrations in places of worship belonging to 5 different religions, by BalaVikas children, gurus and parents at Mangaluru.
On 18th October, 22 BalaVikas children, 13 Gurus and parents, altogether 35 members of Gandhinagar, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Kshethra, Mangaluru, visited a Hindu Temple, a Jain Basadi, a Mosque, a Church and a Gurudwar. It gave everybody a message “God is One, but we call Him by different names”, “Ekam Sat, vipra bahudha vadanthi”. At the end, “Langar” (Narayana Seva) was served by the kind hearted Sikh devotees at the Gurudwar and everyone experienced a sense of gratitude and love.
