Day -2 of the inauguration of the Cantonment new premises started with Omkaram,Suprabhatam and Nagar Sankeertan at 5:15am.

At 7:00 am Poojas and Homas commenced with Mahanyasaporvaka Rudrabhishekam followed by Danyadivasa,Japa Parayana,Navagraha Homa,Rudra Homa and concluded with Baliharana Pooja. Guests of honour for this morning session were Sri.Shakil Ahmed, Councillor BBMP, Bharathi Nagar, Bangalore and Sri.N.Rajasekhar, IFS, Retd.Chief Conservator of Forests.

At 11:30 am Kanyaka Pooja and Dampathi Pooja were performed. Few elders of the Samithi who have been associated with the Samithi from its inception like Smt and Sri.Nagiah and few others were honoured. Their involvement in the growth and sustenance of the Samithi were very much appreciated by one and all.

Morning sessions concluded with Mhamangalarthi followed by lunch prasadam for all devotees.

Evening programs commenced with Sarvadharma Bhajans at 3:45pm. A Sarvadharma Sammela was organized where in the heads of various religions such as Hindu, Christiam, Muslim,Sikh, Parsi and Budhism spoke about the essence of their religions. Speaking on the occasion Sri.Ravi Kumar Warden and Professor, SSSIHL, Brindavan campus emphasized that all religions preach only love and peace and that God is omnipresent who is accessible to all with what ever name HE is called. He talk was interspersed with some interesting short stories.

The guests of honour for the evening were Sri.R.J.Rathnakar, Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust and Sri.Nagesh G.Dhakappa,State President, SSSSO, Karnataka.

Following the talks and felicitation of all the religious heads, the guests unveiled the pictures of Lord Budha, Gurunanak, Holy Khaba of Mecca and Lord Jesus in side the Mandir premises. On the Eastern corner of the Mandir a small statue of Mother Mary with baby Jesus in arms was unveiled by Rev.Dr.Dexter S.Maben, Faculty, United Theological College,Member, Neighbours Forum, Bangalore.

From 6:10pm on wards several Homas and poojas were performed till 8pm. From 8 pm till 8:45 pm Kuppam family members also knows as “Sai Kokilas” rendered soul filling devotional songs enthralling the devotees.

Mahamagalaarthi was performed after the above program and devotees were served dinner prasadam.
