To create an awareness of computer for rural students our entire crew of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Kshethra Tumkur are actively participating in conducting computer education camps in various rural schools of Tumkur district.
One such camp was held at Government Higher Primary School, Maidala Village, Tumkur on 9-Jul-2016 from 8:30 AM to 11:30AM by six sevadal members under Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Jyothi project. We were heartily welcomed by the faculties and students of the school. As usual students were divided into three groups and each group was taught by two of our camp members. Students were taught about the basics of computer like computer definition, block diagram of computer, its applications and advantages. Students were very curious to learn about what we taught them. Later on the usage of MS Word and Paint was explained by giving laptop to each and every student which they enjoyed a lot.
We expressed our pleasure of teaching computer basics to students by distributing chocolates. We are thankful to the organization and school faculties for the success of this camp
