Grand Procession in Parthi – Oct 11th Evening
As part of Karnataka Youth Bike Pilgrimage to Prashanti, a Grand Procession was organised as it entered Puttaparthi, on October 11th, evening.
Swami’s chariot was welcomed with fervour by Sri Rathnakar garu, Trustee, Sathya Sai Central Trust. Sri Dhakappa (State President), and other VIPs from Karnataka accompanied the Chariot Procession. It was a memorable scene to witness the grand entry of Swami into Parthi after having blessed thousands on the way from Karnataka. The Chariot was exquisitely designed, decorated and lighted and was a great sight to watch.
As the procession progressed towards Prashanthi Nilayam Ashram, the visual delight was amplified by the sounds of Mangalvadya, Veda, and Bhajans. Swami’s Chariot was preceded by different groups, including, Folk Artists from different regions of Karnataka, such as Yakshagana, Dollu Kunitha, Keelu Kudure, Kamsale etc., hundreds of women with Kalashas, men with Poorna Kumbhas. The Chariot was followed by about 800 Motorbike riders with Pillion riders, which collectively was a huge number of around 1500 devotees!
It was indeed a momentous occasion for the Youth, Elders and VIPs, from Karnataka to enter the holy abode of Bhagawan and express their Love to our beloved Lord of Parthi!
