The Annual Day Celebration of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Mandir School, Sai Charan Campus, Dharwad was organized with the Divine blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Sri Vinodkumar Passe, the Chief executive officer, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prashanti Nilayam was the Chief Guest. Sri Nagesh Dhakappa, President and Sri B R Vasuki, Convener, Sri Sathya Sai Educational Trust, Karnataka were the guests of honor.
On this occasion, the pre- primary students performed a beautiful welcome dance. The students of Nursery class have dressed up with traditional costumes of each states of India, depicting the concept “unity in diversity”. Primary students gave a stunning dance performance representing Indian culture for the Karnataka state song “Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate” with a fusion of Bharatnatyam, Kathak, Yakshagana, Hejje Kunita and Katti Varase. The “Shiva Tandava Nrutya” and “Kaliyug Avatara Sathya Sai Avatara” dance captured the attention of all audience with great devotion.
All the dignitaries visited the school. The students of Primary section greeted all guests through Veda Chanting. “Srushti Exhibition-2” was arranged in the Classroom. Guests took a round and viewed the various exhibits (models, charts, projects prepared by the students) and also listened explanations about the projects depicted. Honorable guests wished better future to the students and advised teachers to maintain the standards and quality of Sri Sathya Sai Education System by upholding the values taught by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
