Sai Ram, it was the turn of Mahalakshmi layout samithi to offer Amrutha Kalasa to the poor slum dwellers of Summanahalli off Magadi Road in Bangalore West District.
The members of the samithi spent a few minutes with the children of the slums after which the amrutha kalasa provisions were distributed door to door to all the 110 inmates of the slum.
Regular Balvikas classes are also being taken up on every Sunday by the youth Balvikas teachers.
