Ladies Day Event was conducted in Bangalore North on 19 nov 2016, at Jalavayu Vihar, Kammanahalli.
The Programme started with Bhajans, followed by a Skit by Balavikas Gurus, followed by Bhajan Antakshari.
After this, there was a talk and demo by Mrs Nalini Shekar from Hasirudala (NGO) on Wet Waste Management.
Smt Padma Arun – State Spiritual Coordinator, initiated a Project – “GO (cow) SAMRAKSHANA “, explaining about collecting all unsold, leftover – greens, and bananas from vendors and banana sellers and also from reputed stores like RELIANCE, MORE etc, which they throw away to garbage, instead use them TO FEED THE COWS.
This will in turn benefit the cows, by providing nutrition for them. This will refrain the cow owners from sending the cows to eat dirty garbage.
