Good Friday every year marks also the anniversary of Rajajinagar 1st Block Samithi.
On 25th of March, the samithi observed its 48th anniversary.
The programme began at 5.15 pm with Lighting of lamp, followed by fluent Veda chanting by the mahila members of the Subramanyanagar Samithi, Bhajans be selected singers, and a talk by Sri. Uday Dharmastala the editor of kannada version of Sanathana Sarathi.
The balvikas children of the near by Arya sevasharama were also honoured with gifts for their talents after the talk.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks, mangalarathi and prasadam distribution.
