The Mahashivaratri celebrations at Bangalore West District was observed at the college auditorium of the Sri Sai College for Women from 6 pm on 7th March 2016 to 6 am on 8th March 2016.
This is the first time that the shivaratri Akhand bhajans are being conducted in this new location.
The ambience was ideal for a spiritual extravanza.The programme started with Rudra Abhishekam to the Shirdi Baba idol along with Rudram chanting predominantly by the mahilas of Subramanyanagar samithi.This was followed by night long bhajans culminating in Mahamangarathi and prasadam distribution at 6 am
There was a lot of moving crowd due the strategic location of the bhajan venue.
More than 250 devotees attended the Shivaratri Akhand bhajans in west district.
