It’s a memorable day in the history of Mudhol Samithi. With Bhagawan’s grace Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, Mudhol, celebrated its 50th Anniversary on 24th and 25th Feb 2018. Sri.Nagesh Dhakappa Sir, The State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations, Karnataka was the Chief guest.

On 24th evening, a cultural programme by balvikas children was organized. Balvikas students from all centres of our district participated. Our State President, DP Sri. Goudanna Patil and Smt. Kamala HunashiKatti, the dist.Edu. coordinator presided on the dias. Lighting the lamp and inaugural speech was given by our State President Shri Dhakappa Sir,. He wished better future to the students and advised Balvikas Gurus to maintain the standards and quality of Sri Sathya Sai Education System by upholding the values taught by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Our DP highlited The focus the Education wing of our district in nurturing Balvikas children and the encouragement provided by the Parents of Balvikas children.The Balvikas children enthusiastically presented variety  programs for two hours, viz Shloka patana, bhajans, skits and dance

Students of SSSVJ Doni school presented a drama on ‘Dashavatar’ which was highly appreciated by all. Almost all parents and members were present. After arati, every one was served prasadam.

The 2nd day Golden Jubilee celebration commenced with traditional Aumkaram, Suprabatham followed by Nagar Sankirtan and flag hoisting by  the Chief Guest in the morning. Sri Sai Sathyanarayana Puja was performed. A grand procession from Ganesh Mandir to Hemaraddy Kalyan mantapam was taken with the Bhagawan’s Photo with kumba kalasa –arati by ladies wing, followed by Bhajans by youth in which all the distinguished guests, children, members of the Organisation, large number of devotees and general public enthusiastically participated.

State President Sri. Nagesh Dhakappa Sir, Sri.R.Shivanagappa from Shivmoga, PadmaSri.Ibrahim Sutar, Sri. S.M. Patil of Mahalingpur were the chief guests of the day.

District President  Sri.Goudanna Patil and Sri. Mallanna Kanakaraddi the convenor were also presided on the dias.The main program started with welcome song by Balvikas children. Guests were honoured with roses, Sri. Ramesh Arakeri Sir. the samithi active member, welcomed the gathering and narrated the brief history of Samithi and Kumar P. Bagali read the detailed report on the activities taken up at the samithi. Lighting the lamp and inaugural speech was delivered by Sri. R.Shivanagappa, Our SP, Sri. Dhakappa sir, then addressed the gathering. He emphasized  on the need for us to follow Swami’s teachings and put them into practice. He narrated several incidents and experiences to stress on the importance for each one of us to focus upon for our Spiritual Upliftment. The chief guest Padmashree Ibrahim Sutar was felicitated he thereafter gave an inspiring talk on Indian culture. The Balvikas children of Mudhol  samithi gave a stunning dance performance, capturing the attention of all audience with great devotion. Prizes were distributed to the students took part in various events conducted by samithi on the eve.

Past District presidents, Samithi founders, Senior members, Convenors of all the Samithies and BM’s of Districts were then honoured. Final talks were rendered by our District President. After Vote of thanks, Mahamangalarathi was offered to Bhagawan followed by distribution of vibhuti packets and swami photos. Mahaprasadam was served to more than 2000 devotees who were gathered.

This is a major event in the annals of our Organisation in Mudhol and the team of Samithi Youths made it a day to remember for all the members, devotees and public.
